Product Description
Pronounced CHOP-it-TOO-luhs, Tchoupitoulas has to be one of the most difficult New Orleans street names to spell. Heck, it may be one of the nation's most difficult street names to spell. The word Tchoupitoulas is derived from a now extinct Native American dialect. Interestingly enough, Indians also had trouble spelling it.
Tchoupitoulas Street is also the street that runs closest to the Mississippi River in New Orleans. It starts on Canal Street and runs uptown, through the Central Business District and all the way to Audubon Park.
"Tchoupitoulas" is printed on a cinder-colored (dark gray), 100% organic cotton American Apparel tee shirt with orange and light gray inks, and is available in both the unisex and female-specific cuts.
